Jorge G. Torres 1947 - 2021 Jorge G. Torres, 74, passed away on November 10, 2021. Jorge was born on April 29, 1947 in Betis, Guagua, Pampanga, Philippines. In 1991, he immigrated to the United States with his family moving to Edison, New Jersey. He retired from Shoppers World after 24 years of service as a Receiving Manager. Upon his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his guppy aquarium tank. In his spare time, Jorge enjoyed listening to all types of music, but he was an avid fan of James Last. Son of Melanio P. Torres and Felicidad G. Torres, he is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Cleopatra Torres, and his four daughters and their husbands: Catherine and Roland Sebastian, Mary Hazel and Joseph Valentino, Emmylou and Joseph DiGiacomo, and Melody and Mike Yung. He is also survived by his grandchildren Alaine, Aldrin, Arianne, Emanuel Joseph, Ethan, Gabriel, MacKaylah, and great-grandchild Joshua. Funeral services will be held at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
