Happy Thanksgiving, Daddé! Watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade right now - a tradition you started and we do every year in our own homes because of you. You even brought us to NYC to watch it live one year. Thank you for all that you were and all that you’ve done out of love for us all - your family and those whom you have helped. We miss you so much that it hurts, but at the same time there is quiet happiness inside us all knowing that God smiled at you when you called on Him, and that you went your way with peace and happiness inside you. We will miss you, but there will always be a smile on our faces and our hearts whenever we think of you. Don’t worry, you’ve instilled in us how to be strong and independent. That’s what you wanted us to be, and we won’t let you down. DADDY You are the very first person who will always extend help to everyone in need. You are so sensitive to the feelings of others. You have been my mentor, my inspiration and my strength. You always encourage me to keep going and reach for my dreams while reminding me to be always humble and generous to others. I took the courage to stand tall by myself when you told me so during your visit in the Phils. In 1999. I always share my ups and downs with you. Every event of our life with my children we share with you. You are more than excited to see our pictures and hear our stories on all our weekly video calls(this we are missing so much). You wished to spend the rest of your life with us in the Phils. And we pray hard for that. Maybe God has a reason for every pain and sorrows. I am in deep sorrow Dad. No more video calls and voice messages from you, since you left us Nov 11, 9am Phil. time. I want to accept the reality that there will be no more pains for you and you are now in God's hand, surely you are Dad, coz you have been the very loving, very gentle and humble, very kind, generous, charitable and God fearing person I know since you realized it and have asked forgiveness from God and to me, which I didnt expect. I love you so much Daddy, I will now let you go. Know that you remain in my heart forever and so to your brother, sister and grandchildren, Many people cried for your passing... while many of us loves you and keep praying for you. Many people are so thankful to you for your extended help, thoughtfulness and generosity. And for me, your eldest daughter, with Roland, Alaine, Aldrin Ariane & your great grandson, Joshua, WE ARE VERY THANKFUL, GRATEFUL & Blessed as you are my Father and a loving Grandfather to your apos. The old order has passed away: welcome him into paradise, where there will be no sorrow, no weeping or pain, but fullness of peace and joy with your Son and the Holy Spirit forever and ever. Amen.
