As I write this my heart is totally broken and I can barely see through my tears. I met Valerie and Oreo years ago at Veteran’s Park. It was a chance meeting as we were both walking down a trail when Oreo approached me and my dog Dreyfus. I immediately fell in love with Oreo, and Valerie and I walked together for hours just talking about the ups and downs of life. It was amazing how many life experiences we had in common. Unfortunately, Dreyfus passed about a year later. As the years went on we would meet up quite frequently and just walk around talking. I knew Oreo was getting on in age and it would thrill me every time I would see him walking down the trail towards me. Then some time passed and I didn’t see them. I asked everyone who knew Valerie if they had seen her. I texted her several times in the past months and no reply. Today (11/29/25) I found out they both had passed. I was stunned to say the very least. My deepest condolences go out to her family especially her children who I know she adored. I will never forget Valerie and Oreo. May you rest in peace you two beautiful souls, and please take care of Dreyfus for me.

I haven’t seen you for so long, but you were always one of the most important people from my past. We shared so many memories, secrets and amazingly fun times! Life can be so difficult and I know you had more than your share of difficulties to navigate, but you always held your head high and pushed onward! I have always treasured the years when we were inseparable. Sending my condolences to the children that I know you loved with all of your heart! You will be so missed Val. Rest in Peace my friend.

Our condolences to Jim and family. Valerie and I were really good friends. A forever friend that I will never meet again. Her children and dog, Oreo, were her world. Heaven gained an angel, and I know she's rocking and rolling heaven's gates! She is sadly missed but never forgotten. We love you always, my friend! Jim, Rich, Lisa, and Chris, we will always be here for all of you. I will never say goodbye; it's see you later. Rock on peacefully, my friend. RIP, Lynn and Jimmy.
