Obituary of Stanislawa Leskiw

Stanislawa Jaroslawa (Stella) Leskiw, 89, of Morrisville, PA passed away peacefully on January 5, 2025. Stanislawa was born in Krywycia, Ukraine. After immigrating to the United States, she was a longtime Morrisville resident. She was a devoted Catholic and a parishioner of St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church. Stanislawa was the adored daughter of the late Hryhor and Olha Stelmach; sister of the late Kateryna Wozniak, and sister of the late Hryhor Stelmach. The beloved Stanislawa, a loving mother, is survived by Aleksandra and Orest Hryhorchuk, Bohdan Leskiw, Roman and Stacy Leskiw, Anna and Barry Gaudet, Jerry Leskiw, and three grandchildren Christina, Andrew, and Roman, and a great grandson Roman, her brother, Semen Stelmach, many nieces and nephews and other relatives in Ukraine, Poland, and Canada, as well as dear friends. Stanislawa's warmth, kindness, wisdom, and humor will be forever missed and always cherished. The bond and her deep faith and love for God was passed on to us all and will live on forever. Her parents are rejoicing as they see one another again and her first born, Bogdan, cheers as he gets to see his beloved mother again after so many years. Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one's gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart, for as long as there is memory, they'll live on in the heart. As we say goodbye, we also say, see you soon, for we will meet again in Gods home and spend forever together. Funeral Lituary will be celebrated 11:00am Saturday January 11, 2025 at St. Josephat's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1195 Deutz Avem Trenton NJ 08611. Rev. Fr. Taras R. Lonchyna will officiate. Relatives and friends may call 9:00am until 10:30am at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton NJ 08610. Burial will be in St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery.
