Obituary of Robert E. Dill

Robert E Dill Sr. 91 passed away peacefully, on December 30, 2023, surrounded by his devoted family. Born in 1932, and raised in Hamilton, Bob ('Dilly'), graduated from Hamilton High School (West) in 1950. He served his country in the National Guard, and was retired after a 36 year career at Bell Telephone Company. He was a gifted artist and builder, who took great pride in his home. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and swimming. Dilly was a retired life member of the Fin Fur and Feather hunting club. Bobs favorite role, however, was being a Pop-Pop and spending time with his grandchildren. Robert is predeceased by his parents Bertha (Gernhart) and Carl H. Dill, Sr. his sister Barbara Stone, brother Carl Dill, the love of his life, Dolores Dill (Housel), his son, Robert E Dill Jr, his Granddaughter, Katie Rose Pfeiffer, and all of his buddies. He is survived by his daughters, Kathryn Pfeiffer, and Patricia (Paul) Ceppi, grandchildren Robert and Kayce Pfeiffer, and Renatta and Corinne Ceppi, and his favorite sister Gertrude Green. Service of Remembrance will be 12:00pm Thursday at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton. Relatives and friends may call 10:00am until 12:00pm Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Ewing Cemetery.
