I wish it wasn't true. She had been battling diabetes and heart and lung complications for a while and unfortunately lost her battle. She was always such a caring person and would do everything possible to help her friends and family. She had so much spirit and was so lively and deserved so much more than the hand she had been dealt. She was so brave and compassionate and a kind human being and was always there for me through everything and I cannot thank her enough for that. She had much more life to live and experience and was truly ready and excited to get started on that next step. "Mom, if you are out there somewhere, I want you to know that I love you so so much and can't express into words how much I'll miss you. I still can't process that you're really gone. I'm expecting to wake up from some sick dream. I hope that you are ok wherever you are. I hope that you and Poppy are happy and are keeping each other company. You deserve peace. You deserve to be happy. I love you."
