M. Dorothy (nee Karaffa) Lizer 95 of Billerica, Masssachusetts passed away peacefully April 20, 2023.
Mrs. Lizer was born in Trenton, she was a graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing and was a Registered Nurse.
She was formerly employed at Walson Army Hospital for many years.
She lived in Ohio for some time and she enjoyed cruses.
Daughter of the late John and Mary (nee Matyi) Karaffa
Mother of the late James Richard Bland Jr. and Paul Lawrence Bland.
Wife of the late Samuel E. Lizer.
Sister of the late Michael J. Karaffa, Peter Karaffa, Anne Karaffa, John Karaffa, Helen McDaniel, Margaret Cook, George Karaffa, Loretta Newman and Nicholas Karaffa.
Surviving are her 2 daughters, Lucille Ann Bland, of Woodbridge, VA. and Christina Lea Bland of Dracut, Mass.
Grandson Jason Bland and wife Amanda. great grandchildren Annabelle Bland, Jordan Bland and wife Kimberly. and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 11:00am Friday at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Grand St, Trenton.
Interment will follow in the Parish cemetery
Relatives and friends may call Friday 9:30 - 10:30am at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 So Broad St. Hamilton NJ.
