Obituary of Delane L. Colon

Delane L. Colon-Wilke, 82, of Trenton, passed away on March 11, 2023. Born in Trenton, she has been a lifelong area resident. Delane was retired from Davelyn Industries. She loved Bingo, and spending time with her family, and her dog and cat. Daughter of the late Earl and Elizabeth (Kelly) Van Morter, sister of the late Melvana, Anna Mae, Delores, Geraldine, Patricia, Gaynell, Leroy, and Earl, daughter-in-law of the late Leo and Elizabeth Wilke, and sister-in-law of the late Virginia Van Morter, Debra Gunzenhauser, and Terry Wilke, she is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Edward F. Wilke of Trenton, her children Maria Purna of Lawrenceville, Linda Whitaker (Anibal Gonzalez) of Hamilton, Ramiro Colon Cortez, Jr. of South Carolina, Christine Baez (Christopher Neutzman) of Trenton, and James Colon (Georgia) of Hamilton, her grandchildren Michele, Penny, Michael, Thomas, Christopher, Justin, Tony, Brandon, Jose, Matthew, Amanda, Andrea, James, Gabrielle, and Joseph and his wife Anissa, many great-grandchildren, her brother-in-law Marty Wilke of Florida, sister-in-law Marjorie Marsh of Florida, brother-in-law William Wilke of Idaho, sister-in-law Linda Kerr of Hamilton, sister-in-law Sherry Zousch of Idaho, and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 11:00am at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street Hamilton, NJ 08610. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held from 9:00am to 11:00am. Cremation will be held privately for the family.
