Obituary of Helen Claire Joan Helmuth

Helen Claire Joan Helmuth, 75, of Trenton, passed away on March 8, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Trenton, she has been a lifelong area resident. Helen retired from the State of NJ after 25 years of service. She was dedicated to her family and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Daughter of the late Charles and Claire (Ashmore) Hutchinson, mother of the late Don Cowell, and mother-in-law of the late Michael Panariello, she is survived by her loving husband of 20 years Earl J. Helmuth of Trenton, her daughter Holly Panariello of Jackson, and son and daughter-in-law Phillip Cowell and Patricia of Hamilton, daughter-in-law Aimee Cowell of Covington, LA, grandchildren Blake and his wife Kristen, Lane, Sarah, Natalie, Logan, Raymond, and Lilyana, her great-grandson River, her sister Jean Barry of Trenton, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 6:00pm at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street Hamilton, NJ 08610. A calling hour will be held from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at the funeral home. Interment in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be held privately for the family.
