Obituary of Vincent J. Vicari

Vincent J. Vicari, 82, of Hamilton, passed away on January 2, 2023. Born in Trenton he has been a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Trenton Catholic High School and Rider College. He was a self-employed C.P.A. for over 50 years. He was a member of the Italian American Sportsmen's Club, The Baron A.A., and the New Jersey Society of C.P.A.'s. He was an avid fan of surf fishing, who also enjoyed playing bocce, and stamp and coin collecting, but most of all he greatly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Son of the late Mario and Anne (Angelini) Vicari, he is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Lydia (Vrablec) Vicari of Hamilton, his daughters Susan Szwed and her husband Scott of Manahawkin, NJ, and Rachel Vicari of Hamilton, his grandchildren Nicholas Eggert, Katherine Eggert, Michael Haninczak, and Matthew Haninczak, his sister Frances Stancati, and many cousins, nieces and a nephew. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 12:00pm at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street Hamilton, NJ 08610. Calling hours will be from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (www.mda.org).
