Obituary of Gary Weaver

Gary G. Weaver, 79, of Hamilton, passed away on September 9, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, he has been a lifelong area resident. Gary was a graduate of Trenton Catholic High School and was retired from PSE&G. He was well-known for his Christmas cookies. Gary was an avid hunter and painter, and was a member of numerous rod and gun clubs. He was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Eagles. Son of the late David and Bertha (Shremser) Weaver, husband of the late Joan M. (Gore) Weaver, and brother of the late Bill Weaver, he is survived by his children Robert D. Weaver and his wife Deborah of Robbinsville, and Julie M. Stern and her husband Joseph Stern, Jr. of Hamilton, his grandchildren Gary David Stern and Nicole M. Weaver, his brother David Peter Weaver and his wife Mary of Hamilton, sister-in-law Barbara Weaver, and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00am at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street Hamilton, NJ 08610. A calling hour will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Hamilton Twp. Animal Shelter 2100 Sylvan Ave. Hamilton, NJ 08610.
