Michael B. Gutknecht, 67, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, he has been a lifelong area resident. Michael was employed by Mercer County as a bridge repairman. Michael had a GREEN Thumb. He was always available to lend a helping hand and give you the shirt off of his back. He was a very jovial person that loved to chat with anyone and make them smile. Michael loved to cook. He was an amazing father, grandfather, and brother.
Son of the late Karl and Clara (Childs) Gutknecht, he is also pre-deceased by his beloved dog WALL-E. He is survived by his children Constance Gutknecht of Lehigh, FL, and Jeremy Gutknecht of Hamilton, his grandchildren Israel Rivas, RosAngely Olivero, Sebastian Rivera, Emmitt Gutknecht, and his sister Deborah Mizzel of Hamilton.
Cremation was held privately for the family. Arrangements are under the care of Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street Hamilton, NJ 08610. Condolences for the family can be left at www.knottscolonialfuneralhome.com.
