Obituary of Mary E. Barger

Mary E. Barger, 97, of Asbury, NJ, passed away on April 23, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Trenton, she resided most of her life in Ewing Twp. Mary was a lifelong parishioner of The Church of St. Ann in Lawrence Twp. Mary was an avid sewer, who also enjoyed traveling, and reading. Her greatest passion in life however, was her family. Daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Bennett) Davis, wife of the late Karl P. Barger, Sr., grandmother of the late Stephen Connelly, sister of the late Audrey Harrison and her husband Martin, James Davis, and Emily Astell, she is survived by her children Karl P. Barger, Jr. and his wife Anne Marie of Asbury, NJ, James Barger and his wife Estelle of Hopewell, Brian Barger (late companion Kristen Desmond) of Browns Mills, and Carol Connelly and her husband Thomas of Kintnersville, PA, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 11:00am at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street Hamilton, NJ 08610. Calling hours will be from 9:00am to 11:00am at the funeral home. Entombment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton.
