Obituary of Sean R. Dekis

Sean R. Dekis, 32, of Belle Mead, passed away on December 22, 2021. Born in Hamilton, he was a graduate of Hamilton High West, Class of 2007. Sean was a car technician, and was most recently employed by the State of NJ. An avid Raiders fan, he also enjoyed cooking, grilling, fishing, camping, music, singing, NASCAR races, being outdoors, and spending time with his family. Sean had a heart of gold, and always cared for others. He had the biggest smile that would light up the room.

Son of the late Georgeann Engler, grandson of the late Frank Dekis, nephew of the late Kevin Dekis, and Sam Fischer, and step-son of the late Andrea Endrzejewski, he is survived by his loving wife Amy of Belle Mead, his daughter Alana Dekis, his father and step mother Darron and Trish Dekis, his brother and sister Todd and Ashley Dekis, his step brother Jake Sibert, Jr., his step siste Lily Ambrose, his grandmother Magda Dekis, and his nephew Tony Badgley, all of Hamilton. Sean is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 7:00pm at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton, NJ 08610. Pastor John Grove will officiate.
