Obituary of Rose Ellen Bowden

Rose Ellen Bowden, 81 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, April 13th. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she has been an area resident for most of her life. She was a parishoner of St. Gregory The Great Roman Catholic Church. A kind, loving, and happy person, Rose loved being with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She was known as "The Voice with A Smile" for Bell Telephone, from which she later retired. Daughter of the late John Kelty and Angeline Calderone Kelty, and Wife of the late Roger Bowden, she is survived by her siblings and their spouses John and Norrita Kelty of Hammonton, and Patricia and John Innocenzi of Hamilton, Brother In Law Robert and Gail Bowden of Hamilton. Nieces and Nephews Joann Mount, Susan DeAngelo, Colleen O'Keefe, Marla Mitchell, Trisha Burnett, and Eric, Ian, and Brandyn Bowden, and many great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 19th at 12:30pm at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad St., Hamilton 08610. Calling hours will be held from 11am until 12:30pm. Internment will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
