Obituary of Theresa K. Sawicki

Theresa K. Sawicki 85 of Ewing passed away June 13, 2020. Mrs. Sawicki was born in Antonowka, Poland. She Immigrated to America in May of 1952 to Detroit, MI. and then moved to Chicago, She has resided in Ewing since 1962. A longtime parishioner of St. Hedwig Church, she was a member of the church choir and the Rosary Society. She was also a parishioner of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church and her and her late husband sang in the choir. She was the former owner of S & M Delicatessen in Hamilton. As an avid traveler, she has visited all 7 Continents. Daughter of the late Jan and Emilia Kusnierz. Wife of the late Ignacy P. Sawicki. Sister of the late Celina Szymczak, Julian Kusnierz, Henryka Cotie and Stanley Kusnierz. Surviving are her beloved grandchildren Shawn M. & Laura Sawicki of Pennington. Christopher M. & Christina Sawicki of Woodbury Hights, NJ. Mark Sawicki and Samantha Sternkopf of Ewing. Brandon T. Sawicki and fiancé Stephanie Mottola of Farmingdale, NJ. Kyle Homa of Ewing. Great grandchildren, Danielle and Rachel Sawicki, the late Alivia Sawicki. Austin, Asher, Riley, Luke Sawicki and Landon Homa. 3 nieces, Henryka Squires, Lidia Richards and Julie Menchaca. Due to pandemic restrictions the Funeral Mass will be private for the family at St. Hedwig Church. Interment will be in Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery.
