Obituary of Lowell E. Henderson

Lowell E. "Butch" Henderson, 74, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2018. He was born in Johnstown, PA and resided there until the age of 6, when his parents moved the family to NJ. After high school he spent 4 years in the Air Force, two of which were spent in Vietnam. He was an avid patriot, a loving husband, and took on the job of helping to raise 4 sons of his wife, Dorothy, from her previous marriage. Mr. Henderson spent his days as a truck driver for several local companies, and most recently was a school bus driver. He loved the kids and they loved him in return. Knowledgeable in several trades, he helped his neighbors and friends whenever they needed advice or to borrow any of his many tools. Son of the late Lowell and M. Alberta (Wolfe) Henderson, and stepfather of the late Thomas LeClaire, he is survived by his loving wife; Dorothy (Rebh) Henderson of Hamilton, 3 stepsons; Larry, William, and Gregory LeClaire, grandchildren; Nicole, Lauren, and Christopher LeClaire, his loving sisters Diann Timian and Inez (Theodore) Pacia, both of Lawrenceville, niece and nephew; Amanda and Jason (Theresa) Timian, great niece and nephew; Ava and Vincent Timian. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 15 at 11:30am at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street, Hamilton. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 10:00am until the time of the service. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery 1800 Hamilton Ave., Hamilton.
