Obituary of Barry D. Allen

Barry D. Allen 83 of Hamilton passed away July 10, 2026 peacefully at home. Barry has been a lifelong area resident, a graduate of Trenton High School in 1961 where he played basketball, he graduated from Community College of Morris in Accounting for Managers. Also a graduate of Academy of Advanced Traffic in Transportation and Traffic. He was a partner in ACC Transport, then a Traffic Manager at American Biltrite, He retired as a sales manager from Schanno Transportation. Barry played basketball, was an avid sports fan following all the Philadelphia teams. He enjoyed walking every day. Surviving are his wife Roberta Kammerer Allen. Brother in law Robert Kammerer. Lifelong friend Jim Carrigan, and many close friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday 12:00pm at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton. Rev. Linnea K. Clark will officiate. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday 10:00am until services at the funeral home.
