To the entire Marion family,
My sincerest condolences on your loss. I remember Mrs. Marion as someone who loved my dad (Leo C Fox) and my Aunt (Lynn Anzuini), was a best friend and neighbor to my grandmother (Ella) and grandfather (Leo R Fox), and always greeted me with a warm smile and hug every time I visited. She cared so deeply about me; taking the time to listen to a little kid, share laughs, and tell stories of my own dad when he was growing up, and my dad always would say after leaving, "Mrs. Marion was like my 2nd mother". He had a deep reverence for her compassion, thoughtfulness, and I'd like to think, her way of holding him accountable (which few people could do.) One memory sticks out to me, clear as day: As I got ready to go away to college, Mrs. Marion made me a blanket in the colors (burgundy and gold) of the school (Bloomsburg University of PA) I was going to. She gifted it to me a few months before I left, when I was visiting my grandparents. I still have that knitted blanket today. My children use it now when it's cold and are on the couch watching a movie or show. I think about the love, generosity, and warmth Mrs. Marion always showed me every time they use it. My father always talked about how much "The Marions" meant to him growing up on Gerard Road. I will treasure that blanket and carry the wonderful memories of Mrs. Marion in my heart, always. May you all find peace, warmth, and love during this difficult time.
With Love Always,
Matthew D. Fox, on behalf of the entire Fox family.

To the Marion family
I have nothing but the fondest memories growing up across the street from your mom. She was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met . Kind good hearted loving to all she met. I will miss her voice and her laugh and especially the times her and my Aunt Sis spent together. They are together now and I’m sure busy catching up !

Please accept my condolences at the loss of your Mom. I have many good memories of her at St. Raphael's. Also when were in high school and college I worked at Barton & Cooney part time. Your Mom also worked there for several years and whenever she would come in, she would stop and talk for a few minutes to catch up on family. She was a kind and caring person. Your family is in my thoughts. Best wishes, Dave Kostinas
